Welcome to Science!! :)
Hello everybody...
Ready for the journey of a lifetime? It will require stamina and creativity, so pack only the essentials: comfortable shoes, paper and pencil, and -- more importantly -- curiosity, empathy, patience, humility and a sense of wonder.
You won’t need a passport, but you’ll be traveling to a lot of different places during this semester....
Let's get down to it...I hope that none of you had problems finding this page. :) Please leave a comment giving me your opinion on the colors that I picked for the posts, links, etc...to let me know you have found it. The individual course pages will be set up shortly.
I'll be updating this website weekly (Sunday evenings OR Monday morning) with your lessons for the week so you can manage your time every week. It will be your responsibility to watch, read and make notes on all of the lessons. You may print them out if you need to for your binders. I will not be doing this for you! Come prepared with questions if you have any and we will discuss them. In class, we will be doing a lot of different activities as well as working on other assignments (like textbook questions or worksheets). I've decided to set things up differently this semester for several reasons -- more details will be coming soon. Feedback on this entire process would be very welcome because this is the first semester I've decided to try this approach. :)
